I had an online chat with Sarah last night. I invited my brother Kyle to join, but he didn't say much. Then I invited Kristana, and then Alex when she logged on. She was a bit taken aback, since I had given her no warning. Still, we had a fun time, until I had to go to bed (two hours later than I had planned).

Today I finished reading the Catcher in the Rye, by J.D. Salinger. I was not very impressed. Perhaps it was shocking when it came out, but I found it to be dated. He really captured the mind of a teenaged boy rather well, but why would you want to?

And now I am rereading A Prayer For Owen Meany, by John Irving. I can't decide which of his books I love the most, but this is definitely a contender.
