books, a wonderful escape from reality

On Wednesday, I finished reading Cromm, by Kenneth C. Flint. It was your typical "modern day nobody discovers he is the reincarnation of an ancient hero, and must destroy the evil that once again has risen." Still, it was a fun Celtic tale, and not half bad.

Thursday and Friday, I reread George Alec Effinger's When Gravity Fails. Four words - Muslim cyberpunk detective story. Excellent book, and I will reread the second book in the series next.
