Charlie, his wife, myself, and nine or ten others went out to dinner last night at Ariana Restaurant. It's an tiny Afghan place on Chestnut Street, and the food was delicious. The conversation was very random, and highly amusing. After a lengthy dinner, Charlie and I went to the Grape Street Pub for the 11:15 appearance of VAST. We showed up as the last of the opening acts was ending, and listened to a little of the open microphone stage. VAST was great. I sang along to all but the last song, which hasn't been released yet. I think it might have freaked out Jon Crosby (the lead singer) that I knew the words to the two songs he played off of April. It's available for download from his website, but the CD has not come out yet. One of the two was the song I yelled out for when he was requesting suggestions (Tattoo of Her Name,) and that made me very happy.

Sadly, Jon Crosby was overweight and out of shape. It affected his performance a bit, but I still loved the concert. I bought a hooded sweatshirt and two t-shirts, and then went home.
