I borrowed a movie from Sasha, called "The Barber of Siberia." It's a blend of English and Russian set mostly in 1885. I am a sucker for period pieces, and liked it a lot.

Poor naive Andrey, falling for the wrong kind of woman. Poor stupid Jane, falling for him as well, and then lying about their relationship to his superior while Andrey was listening.

Definitely worth watching, but next time, I want a translator watching it with me for the Russian parts. I could get the gist of it from context, but still...
