Soooooooooooo. What's new in the world of Steve.

Reading: I finished the 6 Messiahs. Liked it, but the ending was too abrupt. Read Lifehouse, by Spider Robinson. He's one of the authors that gives me the slightest hope for humanity. Also read Raymond Feist's Riftwar Legacy series (Betrayal, Assassins, Tear of the Gods). Fast and fun, but not as good as the Riftwar. Now I am in the middle of the 11th Anita Blake novel, Cerulean Sins. Too much sex, not enough violence. Hehehe...

Magic Online: I had been doing horribly in the drafts for the past few weeks. Starting rating in limited is 1600, and I had fallen to 1603! Bleh. Well, I improved by 130 points in 2 days, and now I am up to 1758 again. I no longer hang my head in shame when I am on.

Blood Bowl: Salian, one of the BB coaches, is sprucing up rosters as a hobby, so I asked him to to redmeat for me. The old URL was: http://www.angelfire.com/games/bbowl/redmeat.HTM
and the new one is http://www.angelfire.com/games/bbowl/redmeatdeluxe.htm I can only hope that Max Cannon approves.

KaZaA: Downloaded a bunch of stuff, including the unaired Buffy pilot. It was godawful, but funny as hell. Willow was not Alyson Hannigan, but Buffy, Giles, Xander, and Cordelia were all in it as the regular crew.

SFU: My Dad and I are up to hour 14 in the first season. I am still happy with the series.

Spring fever is kicking in, but I am resisting. I want to be in a relationship, but I fear pain/rejection/betrayal more at this time. Ah well. Flirting is still acceptable, though.

Clocks - by Coldplay

Lights go out and I can't be saved
Tides that I tried to swim against
You've put me down upon my knees
Oh I beg, I beg and plead (singing)
Come out of things unsaid, shoot an apple off my head (and a)
Trouble that can't be named, tigers waiting to be tamed (singing)
You are, you are

Confusion never stops, closing walls and ticking clocks (gonna)
Come back and take you home, I could not stop, that you now know (singing)
Come out upon my seas, curse missed opportunities (am I)
A part of the cure, or am I part of the disease (singing)

You are
You are
You are
You are

You are
You are

And nothing else compares
Oh no nothing else compares
And nothing else compares

You are
You are
Home, home, where I wanted to go
Home, home, where I wanted to go
Home, home, where I wanted to go
Home, home, where I wanted to go
