stupid computer!

I shut down normally on Monday. When I came home today around 6 pm, the computer INSISTED on running scandisk. It would not start up normally. SCANDISK WITH 100 GIGS TAKES SEVEN HOURS! Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggh. I was FORCED to watch movies.

First up was Princess Mononoke. I have never watched it (and I don't need to be berated, thanks). It was excellent. And I had no idea Neil Gaiman was involved! He was a translator for the movie.

Next was Highlander, the immortal edition (full length). I have watched this many times, and Heather's death still made me cry. Sigh.

Third was The Thirteenth Floor. Not what I expected at all, but I liked it. The book title in the beginning was a giveaway though. Still, quite enjoyable.

And now I am back online. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...

one last movie before I go to bed

My Best Friend's Wedding

I am such a sucker for emotional movies. And when they made Cameron sing karaoke, I felt so sorry for her. Another honest movie about how life usually is, with betrayals, jealousy, loneliness, love, and forgiveness. It's my sister's favorite movie. Mine is still the Princess Bride.
