Sunday morning
So much for getting a good night's sleep Saturday night! I tossed and turned. I had disturbing dreams. I got up to pee. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...
Sunday morning, I went in to work as usual and noticed that some things weren't done, or were out of place, and the alarm was off. Well, OK. I can deal with that. Around 10 am, I noticed that the safe had no power. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...
I called Yuriy. No answer. I called my district manager (Mark) and got voicemail. I called Angel and found out that Maria hadn't worked last night, and that a guy from another store had worked. Every time we have someone cover a shift, something goes horribly wrong. Anyways, I finally get ahold of Yuriy and he has no idea that anything went wrong the night before. I called the Aston store to find out what happened, and Chris (the sub) has no idea! Luckily (?) he left the register out of the safe, so I had some cash for the day. Either he is a liar, or he is a moron, or both! Then Mark calls back and lights into me for calling Chris an idiot on the message I left. It turns out that Mark had promoted him to manager from a cook position about six months ago.
An A1 Security employee came out to check our safe and it looks like he'll be able to order a power supply and a battery backup on Tuesday morning. Who knows when we'll have access again...
