So, I was off for two days, but spent a lot of time with my family. Not what I would call bad, but still a lot more stressful than two days of no human contact. Went to dinner at Le Saigon with my parents Tuesday. Saw X-Men 2 on Wednesday with my Dad. Went into Philly with my parents to pick up my brother Sean at the airport Wednesday night. Picked up Kyle as well, and the five of us went to a great Mexican restaurant. Then we drove Sean to New Jersey for business meetings the next day.
I need a vacation, with minimal human contact, and no computer or TV. Sometimes it sucks to be needed at work and have no replacement. At least it keeps my food costs low. Speaking of food, WaWa has a great double dutch chocolate milk, and Jelly Belly jellybeans have a Harry Potter tie-in with Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans. Sardine is revolting! Hehehe...
Other movies I have watched this week:
Crimson Rivers - thought it was going to be a vampire movie, but any movie with Jean Reno is OK by me - subtitled, of course
Better Than Chocolate - a nice story, but the violence at the end was not needed
Kiss of the Dragon - standard Jet Li fare, but fun to watch
Ronin - awesome - excellent cast - again with Jean Reno
Also, I saw Lela today outside the Book Xchange, but I did not go out to talk to her. Just seeing her still makes my heart jump, but I know she doesn't want to see me. I want to talk to her, but I don't have anything to say, at least nothing that she wants to hear. Ah well. If I could, I would change my past. Blah blah blah, etc etc etc.
Someday I will find someone to care for again, and have it reciprocated. It's been almost a year and a half since Sarah. Time for someone new. I even put up a Yahoo personals ad last night. Let's see what happens.
