books, books, and more books

I have been reading quite a bit lately, but only at work. Home equals computer time... Anyways, here are some of my recent choices.

Sullivan's Sting - Lawrence Sanders
The Sting - Robert Weverka
A Murder of Quality - John Le Carre
Spandau Phoenix - Greg Iles
Fools Die - Mario Puzo
I, Claudius - Robert Graves
Preacher - Ted Thackrey Jr.

The last three were excellent. If anyone misses Garth Ennis' Preacher comics, try this book. Not the same, but you will like it. I promise.

Speaking of comics, I went to Showcase Comics on Saturday, and had Chris push some comics on me. Knights of the Dinner Table is my only subscription, since Transmetropolitan and the Preacher have ended. Boo. Hiss.

Y, the Last Man
Fables: Legends in Exile
Bast (Sandman Presents)
The Filth
Global Frequency

I think I'll get all of Global Frequency.

And I finished the Warcraft III campaign. The credits were hysterical at the end. Now I am running through a player scenario where you start off as a little spider, and work your way up to Spider Queen.

The Smash TV custom game is fun, but gets old fast.
