Saturday, I actually did something for a change. I took the train into Philly, and met my brother Kyle at 30th st. He's an eternal student at Penn. We went to South street and shopped a bit. I bought the Unbearable Lightness of Being after he told me I had to read it. We had pizza from Lorenzo's and I also bought some custard at Rita's. Then we went with two of his friends to see The Transporter. I had no idea what the movie was about. One of the actors from Snatch played the lead, and he was great. It was hysterical in the same manner that the Mission: Impossible movies were. Totally implausible, totally illogical, but loads of fun to watch. I had a great time.
On the way back home, two women got on the train and started talking about playing Risk. Girls who play games automatically get +1 point on my list (and Gamer girls get +2). I decided to let them enjoy their conversation and went back to reading The Empty Chair, by Jeffery Deaver. Instead of going to sleep at a reasonable hour, I stayed up until the book was done. Not as good as the first two, but still enjoyable.
In case any of you have read The Dark Knight Returns, and don't know that DK2 is done, I have just informed you.
